Dawn is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who joined the Allied Pediatrics team in January 2019. She has over 20 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in private pediatric practice. She enjoys meeting new families and has experienced the joy of caring for children of patients that she has watched grow into adulthood. The opportunity to educate families and help parents navigate through these precious childhood years is truly a blessing for Dawn.

Professional Experience
Crissy is a Certified Nurse Practitioner that joined the team at Allied Pediatrics in February 2016. Her eight years of nursing experience prior to becoming a nurse practitioner were spent at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in the pediatric emergency department and after-hours clinic. She is passionate about pediatrics and takes a special interest in childhood obesity and nutrition and is an advocate for patient and parent education.

Professional Experience
Abri is a Family Nurse Practitioner that joined the Allied Pediatrics team in July 2017. She is originally from South Africa and then moved to Chattanooga in 2004. After finishing a five year term as a Nurse Practitioner in a Trauma Surgery hospital in the Democratic Republic of Congo she returned to Chattanooga to live and work here. She loves working with children and has a passion for helping moms with lactation problems and for educating kids and parents about holistic healthful living. Abri speaks Afrikaans, Spanish and French and enjoys the multicultural flavor Allied Pediatrics offers.

Professional Experience
Heather is a Chattanooga native who has been in practice in pediatrics and family medicine since 2008. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology (2001) from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. While there she completed research in gene therapy in multiple sclerosis. She returned to Chattanooga and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2004) and Master's of Science in Nursing (2008) from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. During her time at UTC she was a three time recipient of the H. Clay Evans Johnson Nursing Award and a two time recipient of the Dr. E. E. Reisman, Jr. Award, both for leadership and nursing excellence. She worked as an emergency room and critical care nurse in both pediatrics and adults and currently teaches at local colleges in the nursing departments. She has a passion for caring for foster children and assisting teens transitioning from youth to adulthood.

Heather is married and has three children. They are active with the Humane Educational Society of Hamilton County, Soddy-Daisy Community Library, Cameron's Cause and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Camp Horizon Camp for Pediatric Oncology Patients.

Heather is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner that joined the team at Allied Pediatrics in May 2018. She has been living in the Chattanooga area since 2007. Her 8 years of pediatric nursing and NP experience includes private practice, school nursing, inpatient pediatrics, as well as the neonatal and pediatric ICUs. She absolutely adores working with children of all ages and is passionate about educating and helping children and their families live happier, healthier lives.
